Our house hunting experience could only be described as a whirlwind of a journey; however, we will be eternally grateful that Lori MacRae led the way and navigated us to finding our forever home! As first-time home buyers the idea of purchasing a house was beyond daunting. A part of that was also due to our somewhat negative sentiments about realtors being out to make quick money by selling us any house that came along. Lori not only shattered those perceptions, but at times it felt like she knew what we were looking for in a house better than we did. Many people told us that we shouldn't look for our forever home and that it was better to get a starter house. But Lori was passionate about our future and wouldn't let us settle for anything less than what we dreamed of! This is not the first time we have bought and sold, actually it is our 4th time. Lori sold our house for substantially over asking price in just one viewing. Literally our house was on the market for mere hours. Little did we know just how hard it would be to find
a house to buy. We had a firm budget and a ton of non-negotiable requirements for a new house. It literally seemed impossible. Meet Lori MacRae!
Lori was born and raised in Hamilton and enjoyed living and working in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Waterdown, Carlisle and Stoney Creek. She appreciates the trails, waterfront, and escarpment, as does her Bernese mountain dog, Beacon. She has a love of fitness and music. When she’s not working out, she’s playing the piano or trumpet. Other passions involve community outreach and writing. She has successfully authored six French books for students in grades 4-8 to enjoy.
Lori retired from the Halton District School Board after 31 awesome years as a core French teacher. She was recognized as the Distinguished Educator of the Year for Halton in 2019. Oh là là! She brings her strong work ethic, leadership, value of fostering positive relationships, and desire to help others to her role as a sales representative. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail and outstanding customer service.
